The Main Hall — up to 600 guests
The Main Hall is the flagship space at Elstree and the largest event space in Hertfordshire within a film studio setting. It accommodates up to 600 guests standing or 400 for a seated dinner. The space has high ceilings with full rigging capability, integrated AV infrastructure and blank-canvas flexibility that allows our styling team to transform it completely for each event. It has hosted award ceremonies, gala dinners, bar mitzvahs, weddings and large-scale corporate parties.
The Reception Bar — up to 80 guests
For more intimate events, the Reception Bar is one of the most characterful spaces at Elstree. It has its own dedicated bar, a comfortable lounge feel and works beautifully for cocktail receptions, private dining, birthday celebrations, networking events and smaller corporate functions. The capacity is up to 80 guests standing or around 50 for a seated format.
What is included with venue hire?
As the exclusive in-house hospitality partner at Elstree Film Studios, Soul Studio Events manages all food, beverage and event services on site. Venue hire includes access to the space with existing furniture and infrastructure, dedicated event management, full in-house catering from our kitchen, staffed bar service and post-event clear-down. Dry hire is also available for clients who have their own catering or event production teams.
Getting to Elstree Film Studios
Elstree Film Studios is located on Shenley Road, Borehamwood, WD6 1JG. It is a 20-minute train journey from St Pancras on the Thameslink line to Elstree and Borehamwood station, which is a 10-minute walk from the studios. By car it is accessible from junction 23 of the M25 and has on-site parking available for events.
